Giora Kaplan

Giora Kaplan, known as Gig, is an accomplished entrepreneur and technology leader with extensive experience in founding and co-founding multiple companies. Currently a founding member of MRV Collective since May 2022, Gig also serves as co-founder and CTO at Wix.com, a position held since February 2006. Previous roles include mercenary founder at Cymedia from 2004 to 2005, founder of Promotix between 1999 and 2001, and co-founder of OptiMedia Ltd. from 1992 to 1999. Gig's early career includes software R&D in the Israel Defense Forces from 1988 to 1991. Educational credentials include studies at Tel Aviv University from 1993 to 1995.
