Ariane Vartanian

Ariane Vartanian is an experienced editor in the field of scientific publishing, currently serving as Senior Editor for Nature Reviews Materials and Team Manager for Nature Communications at Nature Portfolio since April 2016. Vartanian has held multiple editorial positions within Nature Communications, including Senior Editor, Associate Editor, and Assistant Editor. Prior to these roles, Vartanian participated in the ACS Publications Summer Institute with the American Chemical Society in August 2015. Vartanian holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a B.A. in Biochemistry and Film and Media Studies from Swarthmore College.
