Fabio Turone

Fabio Turone is an accomplished science journalist and leader in the field, currently serving as the WP leader for the FRONTIERS project, part of the European Research Council’s Science Journalism Initiative, since June 2023. Turone has been a contributor to Nature Research since December 2018 and acts as the Italy correspondent for *Research since September 2017. As the Partner and CEO of Agency Zoe, established in April 2001, Turone specializes in healthcare and medical journalism, providing editorial services across media platforms. Additionally, Turone holds the position of Executive Director at the Centre for Ethics in Science and Journalism since 2014, focusing on ethical discourse in science communication. Turone is also the President of Science Writers in Italy (SWIM) since 2010 and a Board Member of the European Federation for Science Journalism, actively involved in promoting cooperation and dialogue in the field. Past roles include Conference Chair for ECSJ2020 and co-chair of the World Conference of Science Journalists 2019, along with years of experience contributing to RCS Mediagroup publications.
