Natasha Navet has extensive experience in the field of scientific research. Natasha currently holds the position of Senior Scientist at Nature's Fynd, starting in April 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Oregon State University from January 2020 to March 2022. Natasha's earlier experience includes being a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Hawaii at Manoa from August 2015 to December 2019. During this time, they were involved in various research projects focused on identifying and characterizing pathogens and plant genes using molecular biology techniques such as RNAi, gene editing, and deep-amplicon sequencing analysis. Natasha was also an active member of the Student Planning Committee, organizing a successful plant sciences symposium funded by DuPont Pioneer.
Natasha Navet completed their undergraduate education at Delhi University from 2009 to 2012, earning a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Natasha then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Plant Biotechnology at TERI School of Advanced Studies from 2012 to 2014. Following this, Natasha enrolled at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where they spent the years 2015 to 2019 working towards their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in the field of Tropical Plant Pathology. Prior to their tertiary education, Natasha attended Pratap Public School from 2006 to 2009.
