Jurgita Balkiene

Jurgita Balkiene has a significant amount of experience in human resources, starting in 2004 with Langmead Farms Ltd as an HR Co-ordinator. In this role, they managed the seasonal labour plan and handled recruitment, payroll administration, and inductions. Jurgita then moved on to Natures Way Foods in 2012, initially as an HR Officer before being promoted to roles such as HR Advisor and HR Business Partner. During their time at Natures Way Foods, they supported employees and managers in maintaining high performance, provided advice on employment law, assisted with recruitment and onboarding, and drove various HR projects. In 2021, Jurgita joined SOUTH COAST NURSING HOMES LIMITED as an HR Manager, responsible for providing HR support across 8 homes and dealing with employee relations and trade unions. Jurgita later returned to Natures Way Foods as an HR Business Partner and People Partner - Operations, before being appointed as Head of HR in 2023.

Jurgita Balkiene earned their Master's degree in Human Resource Management from Mykolas Romeris University in Lithuania in 2012. Jurgita later pursued further education and completed their CIPD Post Graduate Level 7 Diploma in HRM at the University of Portsmouth from 2014 to 2016.
