Paul Foley's work experience begins with their role as the Business Planning, Quality and Supply Chain Leader at NatureWorks LLC, starting in 2003. In this role, they led business quality, supply chain, and operational planning for the company, including managing customer satisfaction, quality standards, supply demand planning, packaging operations, warehousing, transportation, and product grade management.

Prior to that, they worked at Cargill as the NatureWorks Ingeo Polymer Plant Production Leader from 1997 to 2003. In this position, they oversaw plant operations, including safety, environmental compliance, and managing personnel responsible for operating the manufacturing plant.

Before joining NatureWorks, Paul held various roles at Cargill, INC. Paul was the Finishing Area Superintendent from 1995 to 1997 and the Mill Supervisor for Cargill's corn wet milling operations in Dayton, Ohio, from 1990 to 1995. As the Mill Supervisor, they managed a union plant, including people management, budgeting, production, safety, and operations management.

Paul Foley earned their BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1990. Later, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Dayton from 1994 to 1999.
