Ryan M James

Ryan M James is an experienced writer, director, and editor with a diverse background in the gaming and film industries. Currently serving as a Writer and Lead Gameplay Voice Director at Naughty Dog since May 2010, Ryan M James contributed to major titles such as The Last of Us: Part II and the Uncharted series through roles in directing dialogue and motion capture. Freelance work includes directing and editing various creative projects, alongside long-standing involvement with Illusive Entertainment, co-creating the machinima web series STAR WARS: A CLONE APART and contributing to award-winning screenplays. Prior experience encompasses positions at Pandemic Studios, contributing to cinematic content for Star Wars Battlefront II, and earlier roles in video production, testing, and production assistance. Ryan M James holds a BA in Media from UC San Diego.
