Hoang N. has extensive experience in mechatronics and robotics development. From 2015 to present, they have been working as a Robotic Automation Developer at Houston Mechatronics, Inc., where they develop automation systems for drilling rig subsystems and creates custom toolchains for system deployment. hoang also designs testbeds for analyzing communication protocols in critical safety operations.
Prior to this, Hoang worked as a Mechatronics Consulting Engineer at SOFEC, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. In this role, they designed test and control systems, conducted research on materials and sensors, and selected communication technologies and control devices for motion control.
From 2012 to 2013, Hoang was an Assistant Project Manager at ARC Specialties, where they developed automated welding machines and data acquisition systems. hoang collaborated closely with managers on project concepts and design, and coordinated with customers on technical requirements and system modifications.
Hoang began their career as a Student Coop at HGST, a Western Digital company, from 2009 to 2012. hoang also gained experience as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Neptec Optical Solutions from 2010 to 2011, and as a Student Research Assistant at San Jose State University from 2010 to 2011. Before that, they worked as a Summer Intern at Applied Materials in 2008.
Hoang N. pursued a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at San Jose State University from 2006 to 2010. During this time, Hoang N. focused on studying areas such as Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, and Optics. Prior to attending San Jose State University, Hoang N. completed one year of college at the University of Toronto, with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering.
