John W. Gibson

John Gibson is the Chief Executive Officer of Nauticus Robotics, Inc., specializing in the development of autonomous robots for ocean industries since November 2022. Gibson has extensive experience in leadership roles, including serving as Director and President at Kickstart Kids since September 2002, where the organization focuses on providing martial arts instruction to adolescents. Gibson was also the Honorary Consul for the Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan from 2019 to September 2023 and independent director at Bluware from June 2018 to September 2023. Prior leadership positions include Chairman & CEO of Flotek Industries, Inc., independent director at Orocobre Limited, and chairman of Energy Technology at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Auburn University and a Master's degree in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Houston.
