Carmen Rosa López is a seasoned UX Designer and Researcher currently working at Nava since August 2021, focusing on enhancing government services for over 50 million people. Prior to this role, Carmen served as a Design Strategist at Arup, developing user experience strategies for renowned clients, including UN Women and Google. Carmen's experience also includes collaborating with the Center for Urban Pedagogy as a Public Access Design Fellow, creating materials for the FEMA application process, and contributing to social programs as a Service Designer at Brooklyn Public Library. Other notable roles include a Citizen Designer Now! Fellowship with AIGA New York, freelance design for Dalberg, and creative positions at Agencia de Publicidad La Facultad and Fabrica, where Carmen honed skills in visual communication and social design. Carmen holds an MFA in Design for Social Innovation from the School of Visual Arts and a B.F.A. in Fine/Studio Arts from ArtCenter College of Design.
