Courtney Rosenthal

Courtney Rosenthal is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in both technology and community engagement. Currently serving as the Director for Open Austin since November 2023, a volunteer position aimed at addressing social and civic challenges through technology, Courtney also holds a volunteer role as Library Commissioner for the City of Austin since March 2021, where advocacy for the public's right to diverse reading materials has been a key focus. As a Principal Software Engineer at Vantiva since March 2013, Courtney has played a vital role in designing features and coding for broadband customer premise equipment. Previous positions include contract development roles at CoreTrace Corporation and Pervasive Software, with an educational background in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
