Bryan Layton currently serves as County Manager for Navajo County, a position held since January 2016, where responsibilities include directing Budget, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Facilities, Risk Management, Fleet, and Public Health departments, as well as managing intergovernmental and public communications for legislative initiatives. Prior to this role, Bryan Layton was the Director of Innovation and Assistant Budget Director for the City of San Antonio from October 2011 to January 2016, focusing on maintaining the city's AAA bond rating and implementing LEAN process improvements that resulted in over $20 million in annual savings. Educational qualifications include an Executive Program at Harvard Kennedy School, a Master of Public Administration from Brigham Young University, a Bachelor's degree in International Relations also from Brigham Young University, and an Associate of Arts degree from Mesa Community College.
