Janis Gallagher has extensive experience in public service, serving the County of Pitt since January 2005 in various capacities, including County Manager, County Attorney, and Assistant County Attorney. Prior to this, Janis Gallagher worked as an Assistant County Attorney for the County of Pitt from June 1998 to June 2003. Janis Gallagher earned a Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law between 1992 and 1995 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Policy & Management Studies from Dickinson College, obtained from 1986 to 1990.
