Blake Jones

Blake Jones, PE/PG, MBA, serves as the Engineering and Environmental Manager at Navajo Transitional Energy Company, LLC since October 2019. Previously, Blake held multiple roles at Cloud Peak Energy, including Engineering and Environmental Manager, Senior Mining Engineer, and Geotechnical Engineer, overseeing significant operational teams and various engineering tasks. Blake’s earlier career included project engineering at Trihydro Corporation, field engineering at Pathfinder Energy Services, and geotechnical responsibilities at US Borax Rio Tinto. Blake possesses advanced degrees in Geological Engineering and an MBA from Colorado State University, complemented by extensive experience in mine planning, regulatory compliance, and environmental safety management.
