Jason Peterson

Jason Peterson is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in the industry. Currently serving as a Senior Mining Engineer at Navajo Transitional Energy Company, LLC since October 2022, Jason has a proven track record from previous roles, including Mining Engineer at The North American Coal Corporation from January 2017 to October 2022, where responsibilities included developing cost-saving tools to enhance production. Jason's experience also encompasses a brief tenure as a Production Planner - Mid Range Planning at BHP Billiton in mid-2016. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering and Management from South Dakota Mines, obtained between 2013 and 2016, and an Associate's Degree in General Education from Normandale Community College, completed from 2011 to 2013.
