Payload System Integration Team (sit) Lead at Naval Sea Systems Command

Monica Blanchard has extensive work experience in the naval sector. Monica has worked at the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) as the Payload System Integration Team (SIT) Lead since March 2021. Prior to that, they held various roles at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Newport, including Modeling & Simulation Working Group Lead from February 2019 to March 2021, and Shock Test & Evaluation Engineer from January 2015 to January 2019. Additionally, Monica had an experiential assignment with the Undersea Launchers Technical Warrant Holder at the Naval Sea Systems Command in January and February 2019.

Monica Blanchard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 2013. Monica pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Rhode Island between 2015 and 2018. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering & Program Management at the Naval Postgraduate School, expected to be completed by 2024.
