Parker Field

Parker Field has extensive experience in naval architecture and engineering, currently serving as a Ship Concept Manager at the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) since March 2020. Prior to this role, Parker worked as a Naval Architect at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) from August 2013 to March 2020. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Ocean Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Ocean Engineering, both obtained from Virginia Tech. Parker's internship experience includes projects at the Naval Surface Warfare Center focusing on concept designs and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, as well as experience with Dominion Virginia Power in data management.
