Hany Elemary

Hany Elemary has a diverse work experience spanning over several years in various roles and companies. Hany is currently a Co-Founder at Navalia since August 2021. Prior to that, they worked at ThoughtWorks as a Lead Consultant from November 2015 to August 2021.

Before their role at ThoughtWorks, Hany was a Sr. Software Engineer at OCLC from October 2012 to October 2015. In this position, they took on the responsibility of a technical team lead, driving design sessions and ensuring code quality. Hany also coached and paired with other developers, identified risks in the design process, and reported them cross-portfolio. Prior to this, Hany worked as a Software Engineer at OCLC from May 2011 to October 2012, where they focused on designing and developing the next generation of web applications using Agile methodologies.

Hany started their career at Profound Logic Software Inc. as a Web Application Developer/Analyst from November 2007 to May 2011. Hany played a crucial role in designing and implementing a web-based CRM system and as a UI developer for Profound UI. Before that, they worked as an intern at LexisNexis in the Capacity and Performance Management division, where they implemented a web-based CPU Usage Reporting Tool.

Hany's earliest work experience was at EMTEC, where they served as a Database/Software Developer from December 2005 to November 2007. Hany was responsible for managing a fuel cell supply chain database, eliminating redundant processes, and developing a company-wide software application.

Hany Elemary attended Wright State University from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Management Information Systems.
