Tim Mahony, CSC has extensive work experience in various organizations. Tim currently serves as the Director of Commercial Operations at Navantia Australia, where they manage all commercial, contractual, financial, risk, and quality aspects of the Auxiliary Oiler Replenishment (AOR) Through Life Support (TLS) Program.

Prior to this, Tim worked as the Enterprise Procurement Group Lead for the Commonwealth Bank, where they were responsible for executing the Software Reseller contract. Tim developed and implemented strategic and tactical procurement strategies and plans, and also collaborated with key stakeholders to ensure effective performance management across all relevant categories and major suppliers.

Tim has also worked as a Management Consultant Operations and Commercial Advisory at FMW and Associates, and as a Senior Management Consultant at KPMG Australia.

Before their corporate roles, Tim had a distinguished career in the Royal Australian Navy. Tim held various operational logistics and project management positions, including serving as the Directorate of ADF Fuel Operations at JOINT LOGISTICS COMMAND. Tim managed the operations and technical control of the Defence Fuel Supply Chain and was a key contributor to the Fuel Network Review project.

Tim also commanded the Joint Logistics Unit (West) and was responsible for regional contract management and provision of logistics support. Tim served as the Director of Maritime Sustainment Support at DEFENCE MATERIEL ORGANISATION, where they focused on transforming the sustainment of Maritime capability through integrated logistics information systems.

Additionally, Tim served in various operational deployments and completed the Australian Command and Staff Course.

Tim Mahony, CSC completed their education at multiple institutions. In 1993, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Commerce Accounting from the University of Canberra. Later on, they pursued further studies at UNSW Australia. Tim obtained a Graduate Diploma of Management in Defence Studies in 2007. Subsequently, they completed a Masters of Arts in Strategy and Management in 2008, followed by a Master of Management in Human Resource Management in the same year.
