Chris Cook

Chris Cook has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Chris started their career in 2002 as a Business Analyst at Essilor, where they developed electronic ordering systems and launched a web-based ordering system in partnership with Johnson and Johnson. From 2003 to 2012, Chris was a Partner at Leading Edge Hosting LLP, where they managed and grew an independent web hosting company. Chris then started and led Clear Media UK Ltd from 2008 to 2014, a software development consultancy where they handled all aspects of the business and managed development teams. In 2014, Chris joined Navarik as a Development Lead, leading an agile team responsible for the launch and rollout of the Navarik Inspection Management System software. Chris later became a Software Development Manager, overseeing two agile teams and implementing improvements that reduced software defects and increased professional services profitability. Chris then served as the VP of Engineering, managing multiple development teams and driving the adoption of new technologies. Chris also initiated and successfully delivered a major strategic project for Navarik. Currently, Chris holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Navarik, where they develop and maintains business process management software for the cargo inspection industry and creates global trade-flow reports for trading desks. Their role involves managing operations for Navarik, which serves major clients such as ExxonMobil, Shell, and Chevron.
