Hunter A. Dell has had a diverse and varied work experience. In 2019, they began working as a Mechanical Engineer for Navatek, Ltd., where they developed, tested, and innovated solutions to novel propulsion systems used in the maritime research sector. Hunter A.'s duties included developing and drafting mechanical power-train solutions, overseeing prototype production, determining EV power requirements and designing systems to match said requirements, combining mechanical and EV systems into prototypes, and testing prototypes to ensure client's requirements were fulfilled or exceeded. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Rochester, where they transformed various textile materials into one with a hydrophobic nature and tested the vibration response of the materials. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Custom Home Builder at Handmade Incorporated / Sierra Mountain Builders, where they drafted and aided the building of energy efficient solar homes. From 2012 to 2014, they were the Founder of ODHM Enterprises LLC, a marketing/advertising business. Finally, from 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Skate Patrol at Evergreen Lake: Parks and Recreation, where they provided emergency medical services to ice skaters and facilitated special events.

Hunter A. Dell attended J.K Mullen from 2010 to 2014 and then went on to the University of Rochester, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2018. Hunter A. also holds a CPR/First Aid Certification from Jefferson County, Colorado, which they obtained in November 2010.
