Honggu Lee

Honggu Lee is an accomplished data scientist and tech lead currently serving at NAVER Corp since July 2023. Prior to this role, Honggu Lee was the Data Science Team Lead at Watcha, Inc. from July 2021 to March 2023, and earlier held the positions of Chief Research Officer and Research Director & Co-Founder at Looxid Labs from September 2016 to April 2021. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (2012-2016), a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the same institution (2010-2012), and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from 성균관대학교 (Sungkyunkwan University, 2003-2010).
