Amber K.

Amber K. has a diverse work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Clinical Lab Specialist at NAVERIS. Amber also began working as a Clinical Lab Assistant at the IALS Clinical Testing Center for Covid-19 at UMass Amherst, where they gained experience complying with HIPAA guidelines, receiving and cataloging medical samples, and maintaining a sterile medical laboratory environment. In 2021, they began working as a Clinical Sampling Specialist at Cataldo Ambulance Service Inc., where they were responsible for the administration and processing of Covid-19 nasal testing. This included collecting, labeling, and processing patient specimens, as well as performing quality control on the samples collected. Amber also assisted patients in understanding medical program intake forms and/or consents. In 2018, Amber began working as an Assistant Retail Sales Manager at Plato's Closet. Amber was a committed member of the Plato's sales team and quickly got promoted to management due to their dedication to customer service and complete understanding of the company culture and values. Amber was able to not only implement changes at their store that bettered the existing team, but was also well versed in training new hires.

Amber K. is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology, General at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, expecting to graduate in 2022. Prior to that, they completed an Associate's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General at Massachusetts Bay Community College from 2018 to 2020.
