Bhisham Chera

Dr. Chera is an Associate Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He received his MD from the Medical University of South Carolina. He is the leader of the head and neck radiation oncology program at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and a clinical trials specialist. Dr. Chera has conducted three phases II clinical trials evaluating de-intensified chemoradiotherapy and pioneered the innovation of treating patients with a substantial reduction of both radiation and chemotherapy.
