Naviair
Jakob Bennike has extensive experience in air traffic control, currently serving in that role at Naviair since August 2008. Prior to this, Jakob worked at Netto, Dansk Supermarked from November 2003 to December 2007, where responsibilities included the position of Servicemedarbejder and Butikschef. This combination of roles demonstrates a diverse skill set in both aviation and retail management.
Naviair
Provision of air navigation services is Naviair’s first and foremost priority, i.e. to provide its services in an efficient and expeditious way, guiding aircraft safely through Danish airspace with minimum delays. Naviair offers training of all operative staff at its own college - of which that of Air Traffic Controllers constitutes the primary part - and operates and maintains the advanced technical systems and air navigation aids. The initial training takes place at Entry Point North, the joint Scandinavian Academy i Malmö. Naviair has a staff of approximately 640 persons most of which are Air Traffic Controllers and technical staff, and runs a business of approximately DKK 900m a year.
