Naviair
Mads Kvist Eriksen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Most recently, they have been working as the CFO at Naviair since February 2021. Before that, from 2016 to 2021, Mads worked as the CFO and Koncerndirektør at Forsvarsministeriet. Mads Kvist also has experience at DR, where they served as an Underdirektør responsible for DR Koncerndrift from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, Mads worked as a Koncernindkøbschef at Politiet from 2011 to 2012. Mads Kvist also held multiple roles at DR as an Økonomileder and Økonomikonsulent from 2007 to 2011. Mads started their career as a Fuldmægtig at Finansministeriet in 2006 and previously worked as a Student at Finansministeriet - Danish Ministry of Finance from 2004 to 2006.
Mads Kvist Eriksen completed their undergraduate education at Risskov Gymnasium from 1995 to 1997, with a focus on mathematics. Mads Kvist then pursued their Master's degree in Public Administration at Aarhus University from 2000 to 2006, achieving the degree of Cand.Scient.Pol.
Naviair
Provision of air navigation services is Naviair’s first and foremost priority, i.e. to provide its services in an efficient and expeditious way, guiding aircraft safely through Danish airspace with minimum delays. Naviair offers training of all operative staff at its own college - of which that of Air Traffic Controllers constitutes the primary part - and operates and maintains the advanced technical systems and air navigation aids. The initial training takes place at Entry Point North, the joint Scandinavian Academy i Malmö. Naviair has a staff of approximately 640 persons most of which are Air Traffic Controllers and technical staff, and runs a business of approximately DKK 900m a year.
