Naviair
Mohamad Sabah Majid is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as an Air Traffic Controller at Naviair since August 2019. Prior to this role, Mohamad worked as a First Officer with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays from November 2018 to August 2019 and as an Instructor and B737 First Officer with Primera Air between November 2017 and October 2018. Earlier career experiences include working as a Postman at PostNord and as an Assistant at Eurofins, as well as holding a position as a Waiter at Slagtergrillen. Mohamad's educational background includes obtaining an ATPL(A), CPL(A), IR(A)ME, and MCC/APC from Entry Point North from 2019 to 2021, completing training at Center Air Pilot Academy from 2016 to 2017, and achieving a Gymnasium degree in Mathematics from HTX Holstebro between 2012 and 2015.
Naviair
Provision of air navigation services is Naviair’s first and foremost priority, i.e. to provide its services in an efficient and expeditious way, guiding aircraft safely through Danish airspace with minimum delays. Naviair offers training of all operative staff at its own college - of which that of Air Traffic Controllers constitutes the primary part - and operates and maintains the advanced technical systems and air navigation aids. The initial training takes place at Entry Point North, the joint Scandinavian Academy i Malmö. Naviair has a staff of approximately 640 persons most of which are Air Traffic Controllers and technical staff, and runs a business of approximately DKK 900m a year.
