Don Korte

Don Korte is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in radar technology and product management. Currently serving as Principal Engineer - Validation at Navico since January 2010, Don collaborates with R&D and PM teams to ensure exceptional customer quality for new products. Previously, as Sr. Product Manager - Radar at Navico, Don garnered multiple awards for innovative radar systems. As the owner of DK Electronics, Inc. since 1990, and former VP of Engineering at King Marine Electronics, Don led global R&D initiatives across various marine electronics products. Don's earlier experience includes managing radar R&D at Honeywell Aerospace and working as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Boeing, where advancements in military helicopter systems were achieved. Don Korte holds a BSEE from the University of Maryland and a Master of Electrical Engineering from Villanova University.
