Richard Bovill

Richard Bovill is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the IPD Director Performance Components at Navico Group since August 2022. Prior to this role, Richard held various engineering positions at Whale from September 2003 to August 2022, including Engineering Director, Engineering Manager, Marine Engineering Manager, and Product Development Engineer. Earlier in Richard's career, a KTP Associate role was undertaken at Queen's University Belfast from September 2001 to September 2003. Richard holds a Master of Science in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Ulster and two Master's degrees from Queen's University Belfast in Manufacturing Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, A Levels were completed at Regent House in Maths, Physics, and Technology.
