Melissa Ragan has had a long and varied career in education. Melissa has been employed in various roles since 2006. From 2006 to 2007, they were a Production Editor for Course Crafters and an English Teacher for Lawrence High School. From 2007 to 2021, they were a Self-employed Educational Consultant, a Regional Consultant for Scholastic, a Proposal/RFP Writer for Amplify (formerly Wireless Generation), an Online Course Manager for Knowledge Delivery Systems, Inc., a Chief Academic Officer and VP of Content and Curriculum for ONEder, and a Chief Product Officer for PATHS® Program LLC. Currently, they are the Chief Learning Officer for Navigate360.

Melissa Ragan began their educational journey in 1989 at Zama American High School, where they completed college prep courses. Melissa then attended Ealing College, London, England from 1990 to 1991, studying British Literature. Following this, they attended Boston University from 1991 to 1993, earning a BA in English. Finally, they completed an MBA in Business from the University of Phoenix from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained a Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Basic certification from the CITI Program in November 2021.
