George Anderson

George Anderson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in learning and development. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Learning Officer at Synchrony Financial since April 2014, George has been instrumental in developing learning strategies and building a learning organization following the GE Capital spin-off. Prior to this role, George held the position of Chief Learning Officer at GE Capital from January 2010 to March 2014, and also served in various capacities at GE Crotonville from March 1998 to January 2010, including Director of Customer and Corporate Initiatives Education and Director of Executive and Customer Education. George holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Human Resources Development and an MBA, both from the University of Louisville.
