Vanessa Romero

Vanessa Romero began their work experience in 2003 at Oxy USA as an HES Specialist, where they provided safety, environmental, and risk engineering support to the Hugoton Asset Team. Vanessa also ensured compliance with health, safety, and environmental guidelines, managed critical dates, filings, and reporting for environmental activities, and served as a government liaison to regulatory agencies. In 2006, they joined Occidental Permian as an Environmental Engineer, focusing on operational and regulatory issues related to air quality. Vanessa was responsible for critical dates, filings, and reporting for environmental activities, such as obtaining permits. In 2018, Vanessa joined Navigator Energy Services as an EHS/Regulatory Manager before transitioning to the role of HES/Regulatory Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Director Environmental, Health, Safety and Regulatory Compliance- Operations at Navigator CO2, starting in 2023.

Vanessa Romero completed their education at Texas Tech University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from 1999 to 2002. Later, they pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Systems and Engineering Management from Texas Tech University, completing their studies from 2011 to 2013. Furthermore, there is no available information regarding their early education, but it is known that they attended Odessa High School.
