Jim Moentmann has an extensive work experience that spans over several companies and roles. Jim most recently served as the President of Navigator Development Group Inc. since October 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Vice President at the same company from July 2015 to October 2019. Before joining Navigator Development Group Inc., Jim Moentmann worked at Whitney, Bradley & Brown (WBB) as the Director of Army, Joint and OSD Programs from August 2009 to June 2015. Jim also had previous experience as an Executive Officer at US Army, Europe from June 2007 to June 2009 and as the Director of the Army Joint Support Team from June 2006 to June 2007. Earlier in their career, they served as the Chief of Staff at Combined Forces Command - Afghanistan from June 2005 to June 2006 and as the Chief of Strategic Plans, Concepts, and Doctrine at Army G3/5/7 Pentagon from June 2003 to June 2005. Jim also held the position of Brigade Commander at 2nd Infantry Division from 2001 to 2003 and worked as the Task Force Senior Observer-Controller at Joint Readiness Training Center from 1999 to 2000. Jim Moentmann started their career as a Commander at 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment from July 1997 to July 1999.
Jim Moentmann has a comprehensive education history, starting with their Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, which they completed from 1977 to 1981. Jim later pursued a Master of Science in Economic Geography from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completing it between 1987 and 1989. In 2000, they furthered their education at the US Army War College, where they earned a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies, completing the program in 2001. Jim also undertook the High Command and Staff Course in Shrivenham, UK, in 2005, where they focused on studying Strategy.
