Ryan Beckland

Ryan Beckland is a seasoned entrepreneur and real estate professional with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently serving as Co-Owner of Lightning Turns LLC since September 2023, Ryan specializes in general contracting for real estate investors in Kansas City. As the Founder and General Partner of Simply Home since January 2021, Ryan has focused on innovative housing solutions for low-income disabled individuals. Additionally, Ryan has managed the Amarantine Opportunity Fund, LLC since November 2019, emphasizing financial sustainability in real estate investments. With a background as an Entrepreneur In Residence at Applico and significant leadership experience at Validic from 2010 to 2018, Ryan contributed to the growth of a health-tech platform. Previous ventures include ownership roles at Happy Trailers, LLC and Beckland Rentals, alongside analytical work at Johnson County Community College and instructional experience at the University of Virginia. Ryan holds a Master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies from the University of Iowa.
