Ronen Karasik

Ronen Karasik has worked in various roles in the IT and Information Security fields since 2010. Ronen began as a Freelancer in 2010, providing web services for small businesses, developing Content Management Systems (CMS) with PHP, JavaScript and MySql. In 2015, they joined the Israel Ministry of Defense as a Security R&D Lead and Project Manager. Ronen also worked as a Lead Software Engineer, developing and leading innovative solutions, specializing in web research and development, and leading short-medium term projects. In 2017, they joined Cyberint as a Full Stack R&D and Scrum Master. In 2019, they moved to Firedome as a CISO and CIO, and an Information Security Lead and DevOps Lead. Currently, they are the Head of Information Security and IT at Navina.

Ronen Karasik attended Bar-Ilan University from 2020 to 2021, where they studied to become a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and a Data Protection Officer (DPO). In 2021, they obtained a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and a Certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) from Bar-Ilan University. In 2015, they obtained a Gamma-Cyber R&D certification from the Israeli Ministry of Defense.
