Tal Shachar

Tal Shachar has worked in the software development industry since 2011. In that year, they began as a Software Developer for the Israel Defense Forces, where they developed an HR modules on a SAP based ERP system using ABAP. Tal also designed and implemented high quality complex features following specification requirements of the product team and productized features based on customer needs and requirements.

From 2018 to 2022, Tal Shachar worked at Trax Retail, where they held three roles. Tal was an R&D Infrastructure Team Lead, where they built and led a thriving R&D Infrastructure team (Python, Node. JS) of a Multi-Cloud system both on AWS and GCP, and managed product and engineering of Trax core services from ideation to production. Tal was also an Engineering Team Lead, where they managed a multi-location Full-Stack development team of 6 members, responsible for building the entire reporting layer of a Big-Data solution, and led an Agile development process by setting goals, prioritizing tasks and monitoring the daily team activity. Finally, they were a Full Stack Web Developer, where they were the lead developer in the Data Acquisition team, responsible for input APIs & data management layer (Both REST & GraphQL), designed and implemented a large scale, multi-cloud system involving MySQL, MongoDB, Redis and core components on AWS & GCP, and led a cross company migration project from design phase, through development management to production and client adoption.

Currently, Tal Shachar is a R&D Team Lead at Navina.

Tal Shachar attended Mamram - Israeli Defense Force from 2011 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Computer Software Engineering. Tal then attended The College of Management Academic Studies from 2012 to 2015, studying Computer Science.
