Staff Engineer III at NEO Virtus Engineering

Griffin Anderson has held various positions in the engineering and electrical fields since 2017. In 2017, they worked as a shift worker at The Bagel Shop. In 2016, they were an Electrical Apprentice at John Essery Electric. In 2018, they worked as an Electrical Apprentice at Bay State Electric, where they installed fire alarm and fire alarm systems in both industrial and commercial applications. In 2019, they were an Electrical Engineering Intern at BLW Engineers, where they worked with problem solving and electrical design in relation with the National Electric Code (NEC). In 2021, they began working at NEO Virtus Engineering, Inc. as a Staff Engineer II, where they design stamped PV systems, Interconnection Applications, ISO-NE Power Flow Benchmarking Analysis, and various other engineering studies in accordance with the National Electric Code (NEC), National Grid ESB, IEEE, Eversource, ISO-NE, CMP, and other standards. Griffin also works extensively in PSS/E, PSCAD and AutoCAD, and has exposure to ASPEN One-Liner.

Griffin Anderson obtained their High School Diploma from Essex Technical High School in 2017. Griffin then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, which they completed in 2020. In 2021, Griffin Anderson began their Master's degree in Energy Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energy at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, which they are expected to complete in 2022. In May 2022, they will receive a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and in February 2021, they will receive a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
