David Hoffman

David Hoffman, PhD, DABR, currently serves as the Vice President of Physics and Dosimetry at Navista, a position held since April 2025, where responsibilities include supervising physics and dosimetry teams and driving the company's strategic vision. Previously, David was the Director of Medical Physics at cCARE from October 2021 to May 2025, and an Assistant Professor at UC San Diego Health from October 2016 to October 2021. David's earlier experience includes working as a Resident Physicist at UC Davis Medical Center and as a Doctoral Candidate at Virginia Commonwealth University, where a PhD in Medical Physics was obtained in 2013. Additional expertise includes consulting on noise and vibration control at Harris Miller Miller & Hanson Inc. David holds a BS in Physics, German, and History from the University of Richmond.
