Mike Beattie

President, Offshore Projects at Navitas Petroleum

Mike is responsible for the offshore projects at Navitas. He identifies and evaluates new opportunities for Navitas developments. He is also responsible to take new developments through the approval process and oversee development and production operations by the operating partners.

Mike is a seasoned professional in the development of energy projects in the offshore and international arenas. Former roles include the Vice President of Project Management at Anadarko Petroleum Company. He worked at Anadarko for 22 years where he held positions of increasing responsibility. Key project management roles included the Constitution and Caesar-Tonga developments in the Gulf of Mexico and the Peregrino development in Brazil. Mike began his career with ExxonMobil where he was responsible for design of offshore platforms in Mobile Bay in the Gulf of Mexico and in Malaysia.

Mike earned a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.
