Thomas Stensgaard

Thomas leads the project team for the Navitas Operated greenfield Sea Lion Development in the North Falklands basin and nearby surrounding prospects, responsible for concept selection, design and construction. Thomas has over 30 years of experience of efficiently delivering offshore projects, having worked with Super Majors, Independent Oil Companies and EPC Contractors in a diverse range of international locations including Asia Pacific, South America, Gulf of Mexico and West Africa, most recently on the new build King’s Quay FPS Host Facility and Khaleesi Mormont and Samurai Subsea developments. Thomas has a track record of simplifying and optimizing projects through execution phasing and application of an Independent Operators mindset to maximize the value of assets.

Thomas has a BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and a MBA from Rice University, Houston.
