Wendell Tackett

Wendell Tackett is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in product engineering and management across various sectors, including automotive and aerospace. Currently serving as the Manager of Product Engineering at Navitas Systems, LLC since February 2024, Wendell previously held positions as Engineering Supervisor for Electric Vehicle Power Distribution at Yazaki North America and Manager of Product Engineering for Lithium-Ion Batteries at A123 Systems. Wendell's career also includes roles as Manager of Braking Systems at AM General, Engineering Manager at Crane Aerospace & Electronics, and Sr. Technical Specialist at ZF TRW. Earlier experience includes serving as an Engineering Instructor at Lawrence Technological University and a Research and Development Engineer at Bendix Automotive, where early Anti-lock braking and Traction Control systems were developed. Wendell holds a Master of Arts in German Literature from Indiana University South Bend and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Youngstown State University.
