Carl Engelbert

Carl Engelbert has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Carl currently serves as the Vice President for the Airborne Systems and Logistics Sector at Navmar Applied Sciences, overseeing the work of four Group Managers who are responsible for various areas such as Systems Engineering, C4ISR & Logistics, Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs), and Production. Prior to their current role, Carl served as the Project Manager at the National Electronics Manufacturing Center Of Excellence, where they successfully managed the Electronics Miniaturization for Missile Applications (EMMA) project and the Traveling Wave Tube Improved Manufacturing project. Before entering the private sector, they had a distinguished career in the US Navy, serving as a Pilot and Aeronautical Engineering Duty Officer. Carl held notable positions such as Director of Engineering at NAVICP and Executive/Commanding Officer of a 700-person organization.

Carl Engelbert earned a BBA degree in Public Transport from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they attended from 1968 to 1974. Carl later pursued a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the US Naval Postgraduate School, completing it from 1988 to 1990. As part of their education, they also attended the US Naval Test Pilot School for the Fixed Wing Curriculum in 1983-1984.
