Elizabeth Stout currently serves as the Communications and Public Policy Administrator and Project Administrator at NAVREF since May 2023. Prior to this role, Elizabeth held positions including Personal Trainer at VIDA Fitness & Aura Spa and CHANGES Coach and Personal Trainer at UF RecSports from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, a Federal Relations Intern at the University of Florida during late 2021, Elizabeth gained valuable experience as the Assistant Division Head and Changeover Supervisor at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center from 2018 to 2020. Elizabeth Stout is pursuing a Master’s degree in Mass Communication at the University of Florida, having previously earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Anthropology from the same institution.

Formed in 1992, the National Association of Veterans' Research and Education Foundations (NAVREF) is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit membership organization of research and education foundations affiliated with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical centers. These nonprofits, also known as the VA-affiliated nonprofit research and education corporations (NPCs), are authorized by Congress under 38 USC §§7361-7366 to provide flexible funding mechanisms for the conduct of research and education at VA facilities nationwide.
