Johana Chazaro Cortes

Johana Chazaro has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Johana is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, where they are involved in transforming NASA datasets into cloud optimized formats and developing Python scripts for optimization. Johana is also assisting in developing and testing interactive visualizations and analytical tools for NASA fire data.

Johana Chazaro began their education journey by obtaining a High School Diploma from Upland High School between 2012 and 2016. Johana then pursued Pre-Engineering at Citrus College from 2016 to 2019, earning an IGETC degree. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at California Baptist University, starting in 2020 and expected to complete by 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Johana Chazaro has also obtained various certifications. In November 2020, they completed the "What is Data Science" course offered by Coursera. In December 2020, they obtained certifications in "Data Science Methodology" and "Tools for Data Science," also from Coursera. In January 2021, they acquired the certification for "Python for Data Science and AI" from Coursera. Most recently, in May 2023, they received a certification as a "Cloud Practitioner" from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
