NAYA Family Center
Katherine L. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Katherine currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at NAYA Family Center since 2022. Prior to this, they were also the Chief Financial Officer at Cowlitz Family Health Center from 2019 to 2022.
Before joining Cowlitz Family Health Center, Katherine held various positions at Mercy Corps, including Treasury and Tax Compliance Manager from 2015 to 2019, and Assistant Controller, Treasury and Reporting from 2009 to 2015.

Katherine L. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business between 1989 and 1994. Katherine then pursued further education and obtained an MBA from Willamette University between 2006 and 2008. The field of study for their MBA is not specified.

NAYA Family Center's mission is "to enhance the diverse strengths of our youth and families in partnership with the community through cultural identity and education." The Native American Youth and Family Center in Portland, Oregon, works to enrich the lives of our Native youth and families through education, community involvement, and culturally specific programming. We have provided educational services, cultural arts programming, and direct support to reduce poverty to the Portland metropolitan area's American Indian and Alaska Native community for over 40 years.
