Tamara Henderson

Tamara Henderson has a diverse work experience, primarily focused on education and youth services. Tamara has held various roles at different organizations, demonstrating their commitment to supporting youth and their families.

Tamara started their career at the Oregon Student Association in 2007, where they served as Executive Director for three years. Tamara then joined the Native American Youth and Family Center in 2010, initially working as an Achievement Coach before becoming a College and Career Coordinator. In 2013, Tamara joined the Southern Oregon Education Service District as an Indian Education Facilitator.

Since 2014, Tamara has worked at the NAYA Family Center. Tamara started as the Coordinator of Counseling & Collaborations, then became the College and Career Readiness Manager. In 2017, they were promoted to Director of Youth and Education Services, and in 2022, they were appointed as the Chief Operating Officer.

Tamara Henderson attended Southern Oregon University, where they pursued a field of study in Communication Studies and Conflict Resolution. The exact duration of their education at this institution is not specified.
