Shalaka Wate

Shalaka Wate is an experienced professional in risk management and public policy, currently serving as Lead Risk Management and Senior Manager in the CEO's Office (focused on ESG and decarbonization) at Nayara Energy since September 2018. Prior to this, Shalaka worked as Chief Minister's Fellow at the Chief Minister's Office in Maharashtra, where engagement involved expediting infrastructure projects and fostering public-private partnerships. A brief stint as a Research Intern at the Ministry of External Affairs focused on initiatives supporting competitive federalism and intergovernmental collaborations. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research Analyst at Scalend Technologies, concentrating on sentiment analysis and communication strategy. Shalaka holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from Vellore Institute of Technology.
