Mark Hamilton has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Mark began their career as a Site Assistant at Reid Construction in 1995. Mark then worked as a Site Engineer and later as a Site Manager at Siemens from 1996 to 1999. At Meteor, they held the position of Technical Infrastructure Manager from 1999 to 2001 and then became Project Manager until 2005. During this time, Mark relocated to Melbourne with Brightwater Group, where they managed projects in Victoria and served as the Victorian State health and safety representative. Mark was a Project Manager at Brightwater from 2005 to 2012.
In 2012, Mark joined QCC Resources as a Project Manager until 2013 when they moved to Bathurst Resources in the same role for a short period. Since 2014, Mark has been working at Naylor Love, where they started as a Project Manager and later progressed to Senior Project Manager. Naylor Love Construction is one of New Zealand's leading national commercial construction companies, with a strong track record in various sectors. Mark has gained extensive experience in project management and has demonstrated a strong focus on safety, health, and delivering to client expectations throughout their career.
Mark Hamilton attended St Aidans High School in Wishaw, North Lanarkshire, Scotland from 1987 to 1992. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at Motherwell College in 1992 for a year to study Manufacturing Systems Engineering. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of the West of Scotland from 1993 to 1995, focusing on Systems Engineering & Management.
