Chris Farnum

Chris Farnum is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in content strategy, journalism, and water fitness instruction. Currently serving as a Hydrorider certified water fitness instructor at the Jewish Community Center of Greater Rochester, Chris previously held various positions at Nazareth University, culminating as the Director of Content Strategy, where significant achievements included winning the RBJ Best of the Web in Education and an overall Silver Award in 2015. Chris has a background in photography as the owner of Farnum Fotos and has contributed writings to various publications, including the Democrat and Chronicle and USA TODAY. Additionally, Chris has successfully expanded volunteer tutoring programs in local schools and demonstrated a commitment to community health and education through various roles. A graduate of Ithaca College with a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Chris has developed a diverse skill set that blends strategic communication, storytelling, and community engagement.
