Robert Garcia currently serves as the Director of Media Strategy & Planning at the National Basketball Association (NBA), a position held since June 2021, during which time processes were developed for media briefing, planning, activation, and reporting for NBA Affiliate Leagues. Significant achievements include exceeding goals for the WNBA League Pass and App download campaigns, and enhancing SEO strategies for NBA G League Team Ignite. Prior to the NBA, Robert held various roles at Carat, overseeing over $80MM in digital media investment for Procter & Gamble clients, and at Essence, where media planning and strategy for the NBC Sports portfolio was executed. Additional experience includes strategic roles at Horizon Media, contributing to significant rebranding efforts and successful client pitches. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from New York University and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
